Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q.)
Q. Is there any alcohol in the Resveratrol WINETIME bar?
A. There is a miniscule amount of alcohol in the vanilla extract and the natural flavors. It is no more than you would find in other nutrition bars in the marketplace.
Q. The ingredients list shows that the bar contains "chocolate liquor." What is that?
A. All real chocolate comes from the cocoa bean, the fruit of a tropical tree, Theobroma cacao. To make chocolate, processors roast and shell the cocoa beans leaving only the centers, called nibs. These nibs are then pulverized or ground into a smooth liquid that’s called chocolate liquor—although it contains no alcohol. When the chocolate liquor cools, it forms solid blocks. Chocolate liquor is the basis for all things chocolate.
Q. How much Resveratrol is contained in each WINETIME bar?
A. There are two different high-quality sources of Resveratrol and the exact amount of each is proprietary information. However, you can be assured that together they provide more Resveratrol than 50 glasses of red wine. In addition, there is a certain amount of Resveratrol derived from the chocolate content of the bar!
Q. Can I eat more than one bar a day?
A. Absolutely. Enjoy the WINETIME bar as a meal replacement, as a snack, as dessert—or paired with your favorite red wine.
Q. Why is red wine the key source of Resveratrol? Why not white wine?
A. Red wine contains higher concentrations of Resveratrol than white wine because red wine is fermented together with the skins whereas the skins are removed from white wine varieties prior to fermentation. The compound is formed in the skin to combat disease, especially fungal attack.
